George Durrant
George Durrant was born and raised in American Fork, Utah. He has served in many capacities with the LDS Church Educational System. For several years he was the director of Priesthood Genealogy for the Church.
He served for three years as president of the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, and he has taught religion at Brigham Young University.
He is the author of more than a dozen books, including the best-selling Love at HomeStarring Father and Scones for the Heart. He has also co-authored a book with his son Devin entitled Raising an All-American. He is married to the former Marilyn Burnham. They are the parents of eight children.
