Why do bad things happen? Is there a purpose when we face a severe trial?

As mortals, we can be compared to ore, such as gold and silver. Ore that is unrefined is generally impure and undesirable.

Only ore that is crushed—and then refined by fire—becomes beautiful, pure, precious and valuable.

This book was written to help you see the results of the Ultimate Refiner, the Lord, in your own life.

Within these pages, people from all walks of life share their stories of triumph over tragedy. More importantly, they reveal how they were strengthened as they passed through the Refiner’s fire.

They became more precious, and so can you.

Read stories from popular authors:
Shirley Bahlmann
Willard Boyd Gardner
Merrill Osmond
Tristi Pinkston
Muriel Sluyter
And many more!

Reviews-

I needed to write you and let you know just how very grateful and blessed, my life has been since reading Forged in the Refiner's Fire. Yes, there are many books written on this subject, but unique to this book, is the very personal experiences so bravely shared by these very courageous Latter-Day-Saints.

In reflecting upon their experiences, not only do I understand that others do undergo similar trials, and experiences, but how they lived through them, and the personal growth that they have shared with us. I too can do it! I to can live through my own trials and experiences that are truly refining me! I am so grateful for this publication of how our Father-in-Heaven works to aid in refining us.

My heart filled thanks to those who complied these tender stories/experiences and those who so bravely shared them with us, as this is helping me further along my journey here in life!

A good book to have on your bookshelf to remind us that we are not alone in facing extreme difficulties.  We can be buoyed up by the courage that others have had when facing their trials.
