Spring Creek wins second straight LDS wholesaler award

For the second consecutive year, Spring Creek Book Company was awarded the LDS Booksellers Association’s coveted Small Wholesaler of the Year award.

Chad Daybell accepted the award in behalf of the company at the annual LDSBA Awards Banquet at the South Towne Expo Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

“This is a real honor, and hopefully it shows that we are producing books that the bookstores are happy with,” Chad said.

He gave credit to the company’s authors, and also to Nicole Cunningham, the company’s graphic artist who creates the company’s book covers and interior designs.

“Nicole has done a wonderful job for us,” he said. “She works behind the scenes, but she is a key part of the company. We couldn’t succeed without her.”

Spring Creek plans to release 20 books in 2007, focusing on non-fiction and family-related titles.
