In an interesting twist, The LDS Top 5 Charts by Chad Daybell has reached the top spot on DeseretBook.com’s list of non-fiction bestsellers.
“It was a fun surprise to see the book at the No. 1 spot,” Chad said. He credited an article in BYU’s Daily Universe for helping fuel interest in the book. That article can be read here.
The book’s main purpose is to recognize the accomplishments of members of the LDS Church. Chad compiled dozens of charts, and each listing includes an entertaining paragraph of how the ranking was determined. The charts include rankings of movie and TV celebrities, national recording stars, LDS-based musicians, and pro sports heroes. There are also sections on inventors, businessmen, and political leaders.
Each chart is filled with fun, interesting tidbits, and written with a dash of humor.
Other books published by Spring Creek Book Company have also recently hit the No. 1 spot on various DeseretBook.com lists. They include Raising an All-American by Devin Durrant, Bright Ideas for Young Women Leaders by Trina Boice, and Be Prepared by Julie Bellon.
